A beautiful Edwardian boxwood Regency set of chess pieces. The origins of the French regency design of chess pieces dates back to the 19th century. As was common for sets of this age, the pieces are unweighted and unfelted.
The King is 3.8" tall.
The pieces are generally in good condition however a couple of the pieces have cracks in them as shown in the photos.
The pieces are presented in a wooden box.
