Vintage folding wooden pyrography chess board with hand carved Staunton style pieces

A lovely handcrafted folding chess board and pieces likely from the 1960s and from Eastern Europe. The folding board is 14" x 7" when folded and features pyrography design and lettering.

The pieces are handcarved with red felt bases. They have some crackling to the finish as you would expect for their age. The king is 4"

This is a lovely, portable set which can be used in the home or out and about.
